We understand everyone’s needs and expectations are different, so we’ve designed two programs specifically for those reasons. Our weed control programs include a 7 time per year option and a 4 time per year. The 7 time per year is for those who want the heathiest, best looking lawn on the block. This program allows us to time the critical stages of both weed and grass growth, and therefore we’re able to offer a full guarantee. The 4 time per year is for those who aren’t concerned about the deep green and lawn thickness of the yard. This program is designed for those whose priority is reduced mowings and are ok with occasional weed breakthroughs.

Our gold 7 time per year program includes the following:

• Specticle Flo pre-emergent on warm season turf or Barricade pre-emergent on cool season turf
• Highly effective weed control for challenging and hard-to-control weeds
• Slow release fertilizer specifically designed for the time of the year
• Full guarantee after 3 consecutive applications

Our silver 4 time per year program includes the following:

• Specticle Flo pre-emergent on warm season turf or Barricade pre-emergent on cool season turf
• Highly effective weed control for challenging and hard to control weeds
• Limited guarantee for only 30 days after last application
• Please note this application does not include fertilizer

We highly recommend that all lawns are regularly treated for grubs. We have noticed over the 30 years of being in the weed and pest industry that grubs are the most destructive and often overlooked problem for lawns. Whether it’s total destruction, dead patches, or an unusual amount of weeds, nearly every time, the culprit is grubs. These destructive insects lay their eggs deep in the soil and can be difficult to spot. 

Common signs of grubs include:

• Lawn does not become green in the spring.
• Brown patches.
• Dead, discolored, or wilted areas of grass.
• Ground is soft or spongy when you walk on it.
• Grass is not securely rooted in the soil. It will give or even pull up.
• Increased raccoon, skunk, or mole activity.

Although not nearly as common as grubworms, armyworms can also be very destructive insects. When they hit, they hit hard. Armyworms can invade and destroy a lawn within a day. Although easily controlled when active, often the damage has already been done before they can be treated. We offer armyworm prevention with our two-time per-year Armyworm program. This program utilizes a systemic insecticide that remains in the foliage of the grass and stops infestation before it starts.

The building block for every lawn is the soil. The growth and structure of your grass depend on the health and vitality of your soil. Our 1 time per year liquid aeration service is designed to improve the structure and condition of the soil to allow better absorption of both water and micronutrients. During this annual service, we will also test your soil for both pH and nutrient levels. A pH imbalance will cause water, nutrients, and herbicides to not be used properly.
